The product has been under constant control at many stages of the production process. Such monitoring covers, among others: a level of moisture of sawdust and pellets. Before the product goes to its recipients each and every batch is subjected to a final inspection by the on-site laboratory.
Process of pellet production
Sawdust is dried and milled. Under pressure made by forming machines milled dry sawdust is compacted leading to the formation of granules with high heating values. We add no artificial ingredients - our pellet fuel is 100% natural. Under heat wood releases lignin which is a natural adhesive.
Raw material - wood chips from sawmills
At Pellet Energy we do not cut out trees to produce pellets. We use post-production wood residues from sawmills. The prettiest boards and trunks are used in sawmills. In the production of pellets this aspect is irrelevant. We rather want to get clean sawdust which is not made dirty by other materials. We use it for the production of wood pellets.
Forest - the green lungs of the earth
Trees - when they grow - are involved in the process of photosynthesis in which they absorb carbon dioxide exhaled by us and release oxygen - the vital component of our life. When wood is combusted, carbon dioxide is released, but the research studies have shown that its amount corresponds to the amount of CO2 absorbed during the life of an individual tree. Thus it can be said that consequently CO2 is zero-balanced which is considered as the ecological aspect of wood fuel. The combustion of wood biomass is considered to be more favourable for the environment than burning fossil fuels also due to the emission of harmful substances, e.g. sulphur compounds or carcinogen benzo(a)pyrene.
Biomass
When wood is processed in sawmills, chips are formed which are generally recycled. Small chips and cuttings cannot be used for the production of wood elements in sawmills but they burn exactly the same way as wood. And at Pellet Energy we process these chips milled to sawdust.
Convenient bags
At the final phase of the production we pack wood pellets into 15-kg bags from which you can easily and conveniently pour them into the furnace or fireplace. This short production process and use of biomass make wood pellets one of the cheapest fuels on the market.
Transport
Bags are stacked on pallets, wrapped in plastic foil and transported to distributors. Such a pallet can be put in one of the corners in your boiler-house and take off bags one by one for feeding the tray. Made easy, clean and pleasant.
Home warmth
This short production process and use of biomass make wood pellets one of the cheapest fuels on the market. Heating value equal carbon, but is not burned pellets prepared toxic compounds, as opposed to atoms and not dirty.
